Privacy Policy

Overview

Offline Speech Notes records, transcribes, and stores your voice notes entirely on your device. This app does not have a server, does not require an account, and does not send your recordings or transcripts anywhere over the network.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no crash-reporting or tracking services built into this app.

Microphone Access

The app requests microphone permission solely to record audio when you choose to start a recording. Audio is captured directly to a file on your device and is never transmitted elsewhere.

Local Storage

Recordings and their transcripts are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They remain there until you delete them or uninstall the app, and are never uploaded to a server.

Network Use

The only network activity this app performs is downloading the offline speech-recognition model you select in Settings, so transcription can run without an internet connection afterward. Your recordings and transcripts are never uploaded during this or any other process.

Sharing & Export

When you choose to export or share a recording or transcript, the app hands the file to your device's standard share sheet. The file only leaves your device if you actively choose a destination there, such as email, messaging, or another app.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated text will be included in a future app update.
